Meet Nora!

Hi there! My name is Nora Shearer (she/they) and I am a recent graduate from the Otterbein University Acting program with a minor in Business Management. While Columbus has been my home for the past 4 years (go Bucks!!) I am originally from Greensboro, North Carolina. After playing travel soccer from the ages of 6 to 13, I auditioned for a nearby community theater off of the reccommendation from my choir teacher. I booked Principal Dunbar in Footloose the Musical and I never looked back. My love for theater continued to grow as I graduated from Weaver Academy, a performing arts highschool, where I developed a strong work ethic and discovered the value of community in the arts.

While attending Otterbein University for my BFA in Acting, I developed a passion for using theater as a tool for social change and have centered my work around diverse and truthful storytelling. Not only am I a dedicated performer, but I am also a versatile director and knowledgable arts administrator and manager.

When not working in the theater, you can find me playing in my adult soccer league (Fall 2025 Champions!), traveling and exploring the outdoors with my family, or hanging out with my friends at festivals and thrift markets.
